The City of Lenexa will be hosting the July AIMS Coordinator’s Meeting on Thursday, July 9th. The meeting will be held from 9 – 11 am at the Lenexa City Hall, Council Chambers, at 12350 W. 87th St. Pkwy in Lenexa.

AIMS has recently published updated datasets for buildings, edge of pavement and water features for all of Johnson County, based on the 2008 orthophotography. A total of 6,077 new buildings were added, 2,412 were modified and 2,366 were deleted. 1.6 square miles of new pavement edge were added, along with 0.5 square miles of new water features. The photo date for all newly added features has been calculated to 3/20/2008. Other Building and Recreation were also updated in selected areas. AIMS Plat Search subscribers can now access scanned plat images through the Plat Image Viewer. This application allows an interactive, map-based search of spatially referenced plat images. Placed within an online mapping application with property and plat boundaries overlaid, users can search the map by address, parcel id, plat name, plat sub-code, and township-range-section.
