Class Registration Caseworker Resource Center 201: Intermediate Topics    Description This class will provide tips and techniques for locating relevant social service organizations in the community, and for using the mapping capabilities in the Caseworker Resource Center. The Caseworker Resource Center contains a wealth of information that can help you refer clients to community resources. This class will help you find and make use of that information. The Caseworker Resource Center can help you plan an efficient route for visiting clients, obtain driving directions, determine whether public transit is a practical option for a client, and so on. Come explore how these mapping capabilities can improve your efficiency, help you make geography-based decisions, and assist a client with their transportation needs. Location: Johnson County Administration Building (Conference and Training Center, Lower Level, Room 205), click here for building location. Audience This class is most relevant for two groups of caseworkers, supervising officers, resource officers, etc. (1) Those who need to connect clients with services provided by social service organizations in the community. (2) Those who spend a significant amount of their time “in the field” conducting home and school visits.
